Dr. Magdalene Ifeoma Ogbemudia studied both at the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, and the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State with (PhD) in Early Childhood Education. She is a passionate educator who has used Jolly Phonics with both children and adult students for many years, seeing amazing results with remarkable improvements in her students, who have become confident readers and creative writers.
Based on her experience with the Jolly Phonics child centred method, Magdalene was motivated to carry out a research study in her master degree dissertation on “Jolly Phonics Instructional Strategy and the readability of primary one pupils in Uyo Senatorial District of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria”. She has delivered countless Jolly Phonics teachers’ training across Nigeria, she is available to train and coach parents, schools and staff setting up systems, curriculum development, planning and assessment, based on their needs and visions!
