Omotolani Diana Hassan

Omotolani is the KS1 coordinator and Special Needs Leader in a school in northern Nigeria. She studied French at the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State, Nigeria then obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGCEi) from the University of Nottingham, U.K. She recently completed a M.A (Educational Leadership and Administration) at the Walden University, USA.

Omotolani has been using Jolly Phonics for seven years and has experienced the amazing results achieved by the children first hand. She has trained teachers in 4 private schools in Lagos and co-trained teachers in government school in Akwa Ibom and Cross River State, Nigeria. She introduced Jolly Phonics to her current school and continues to implement as the school becomes a Jolly ‘model’ school due to the children’s impressive literacy performance. She has a group of teachers she mentors and consults for schools.

Omotolani is willing and ready to share her experiences with others.
