“If children cannot learn the way we teach, then we must teach them in a way they can learn and that is the multi-sensory Jolly Phonics way.”
Disha Kawa has been invited as an educator for “TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOPS” and curriculum planning for Phonics and Grammar using the Jolly Learning methodology at various private, international and preschools across India, Burma and other parts of the world. She has also been conducting professional training workshops on Jolly Phonics, Jolly Grammar, Jolly English and Creative Writing for parents and teachers alike. Disha also trains children for the Trinity College London exams on communication skills, speech and drama. In addition to this Disha has volunteered as a special researcher for children with learning disabilities with assessment and remedial centres like Saahas. She has been able to enable students to grow up into great readers through the multi-sensory methodology of Jolly Phonics. Children with a strong foundation in reading and strong spelling skills eventually develop impressive creative writing and communication skills.
With over 20 years of experience as an author, teacher trainer, education consultant and curriculum planner, Disha Kawa established Phonicsounds in 2008. Phonicsounds collaborates with hundreds of schools every year enriching more than thousand children and teachers through teacher training and mentorship programs.
