Emefa Gyamfi graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, with a Masters Degree in Public Administration and is a Professional Teacher with over 23 years of teaching experience within the Ghana Education Service. She is currently an Assistant Director and Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) for Ghana Education Service in the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality of Ghana, whilst she is also the founder and CEO of REMALJ Carewell Inspirational School and REMALJ Reading Clinic at Bogoso in the Western Region of Ghana. She has and continues to chalk success in this regard. Her overriding passion is to teach, train, mentor, and coach public and private school teachers as well as parents in the promotion of literacy among children and adults with reading disabilities and or foundation challenges.
Emefa has experience in training Jolly Phonics in Ghana, Canada, South Africa, and West Africa as a whole. In 2016, she assisted Universal Learning Solutions UK as a Teacher Leader for the Catholic Schools Jolly Phonics Project in Ghana. She also assisted Optimalph Consulting Ltd UK in Sierra Leone to deliver Jolly Phonics training to public school teachers. She is currently participating in the ongoing Jolly Phonics Ghana project as a trainer.
