Prajakta is a Commerce Graduate and presently she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education. She is the proprietor of Phonic N Fun, where teacher training programmes, phonics for parents and children, and various other activities for children and adults are conducted under one roof. Prajakta specialises in teacher training programmes in the areas of English literacy skills, motor activities, creative ideas, behaviour and self-esteem and other areas of child development, for pre-school children.
Prajakta has been actively involved in pre-primary education for 10 years. However, she was not happy with the analytical method of teaching English and this led her to look for programmes that would simplify English learning for children. Her searches took her to Jolly Phonics and since then began to implement this programme in her school, she has witnessed a steady progress in every child, and all children becoming confident in their reading and writing abilities through using Jolly Phonics. Prajakta aspires to make training for Jolly Phonics available to schools, teachers and parents in the Marathwada region.
