Pun Kelly Basanti has a wealth of experience in teaching English language as a native English teacher. For more than 13 years she has taught at Kindergartens, Primary schools, Secondary schools, and various English language learning centers. She holds a Bachelor of Language Studies (English), a Postgraduate Certificate in English Studies, a Master of Education in English Language Education, (240 hrs – Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), and a certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL). Currently, she is doing a Doctor’s Degree in English Language Education.
Kelly takes pride in nurturing and guiding the teachers and students to develop a love for learning that enhances their ability to become contributing citizens in their life. She has taught Jolly Phonics, and Jolly Grammar for over 13 years already and, alongside her continued teaching in school, she runs her own learning centre – ‘LOT ACADEMY Group Limited’ – using the Jolly Phonics programme.
Her patient, yet firm, and consistent demeanor has allowed her to be successful in reaching teachers and students with varying needs, making learning exciting for her students. In her experience, she finds teamwork to be an essential element to achieving many goals, so she looks forward to sharing her knowledge with the new teachers or the teachers who are struggling to teach to enrich the quality of teaching Jolly Phonics.
