Roberta Emma Amos-Abanyie, Director and founder for NGO INGIT Jolly Phonics Foundation, Ghana (INGITJPF) is a professional trained teacher with 26 years of teaching experience, 10 years
She has 10years experience facilitating Jolly Phonics training in Ghana, Namibia, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Liberia and co-partnered with Dr. Busola Eshiet for the Jolly Buddies Project in Ghana (results publish on the Jolly Learning website here). In 2016, she assisted Universal Learning Solutions as a Country Director for the Catholic Schools Jolly Phonics Project.
Roberta led the Read Easy Ghana Project for 116 districts in government schools in Ghana in collaboration with Optimal Consulting Ltd., UK and Jolly Learning Ltd., UK as the literacy consultant for INGITJPF. She also assisted Jolly Trainer Agnes in Uganda for a Jolly Phonics Pilot Project. She led the writing of the Synthetic Phonics manual for all the 46 Colleges of Education in Ghana with support from Transforming Teacher Education and Learning (T-TEL). She is currently running a Reading Clinic for children with reading challenges and part of the writers for the NEW Secondary School Curriculum for Ghana ( English Intervention for Senior High Schools).
