Stella Uzu holds a BA in English Language and Literature, a PGDE in English Education and a master’s degree in early childhood education. Additionally, she holds a level 4 Diploma in Childcare and Child Psychology and Early Years Foundation Study (EYFS) from the UK. She has over 27 years teaching experience with 12 of those years spent delivering Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar training to teachers in public and private schools across the 36 states in Nigeria and the FCT.
Currently, she is the lead trainer and a senior project manager with ULSI, where she oversees JP projects, training, mentoring and supporting teachers in public and private schools in Nigeria, with entrenching the JP program into their scheme and curriculum, especially to include and support SEN learners. She provides online and physical training for private individuals and institutions that provide literacy skills to adults in rural communities. She is available to train internationally as she has with ULS education in South Africa and Namibia.
