Akpa Meledje Emile

Abidjan
Emile has a Masters Degree in Educational Methodology. He played a significant role in the acceptance of Jolly Phonics pilots by the Ministry of Education in Cote d’Ivoire. Many of the regions now look forward to the wider spread of Jolly Phonics. He has also supported the introduction of Jolly Phonics to many private schools in the country.

In addition to mentoring the teachers in the pilots, Emile has been teaching early primary school children who had no word of English before coming to school. They now read and write English.  They are happy to be able to speak another language and do not want to miss English classes. Jolly Phonics has helped them to read even  French.

Emile has also supported the introduction of Jolly Phonics to governments in many Francophone West African countries.

He is available to share his experience in Francophone Africa and with anyone across the world.
