Bernard Kojo Asiedu is the Executive Director of Promised Land Education Consult in Ghana. He has an ambitious passion for making sure every child gets to read. He is a professionally trained teacher with 8 years of teaching experience in both the private and public sectors. He has taught 6years with Jolly Phonics and 3 years with Jolly Grammar.
He holds a Diploma in Basic Education, from the University of Cape Coast Ghana and trained at Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong Akuapem. He assisted Dorcas Baffoe Bonnie (Mrs.), a professional Jolly Phonics trainer, to do training for 12 Schools for the Jolly Phonics pilot project in 2013 in the GA WEST Municipal Education Directorate.
He is currently the leader of the non-readers’ section of the Sweet Melodies FM I-read Project, with Jolly Phonics as their flagship reading module in Ghana. He has seen many tremendous results in government school children, private school children, reading projects for NGOs (Utopia Wishlist Ghana), Orphanages (Teshi Orphanage), reading clubs and the training of teachers, and is keen to share his experiences with others through training and refresher courses so that they too can achieve outstanding results also.
