Harshala Jadhav, who holds a Diploma in Electronics Engineering, first started teaching with Jolly Phonics in 2015. After developing a multi-sensory environment – and having studied Montessori methods at The Association Montessori Internationale in India – she saw a wonderful response with accelerated development in her children’s reading and writing skills.
She is the Centre Head of a renowned pre-school in Pune, as well as starting her own institute in 2015, the Navadisha Education Society. She has conducted many teacher training courses, enabling them to implement the programme in their schools. Additionally, she is the founder of Phonics Magic World, an after school literacy centre for teaching children using the Jolly Phonics and Grammar programme. Her goal is to reach to as many school teachers as possible and train them with Jolly Phonics & Jolly Grammar.
Harshala: “I am one of the craziest fans of Jolly Phonics as I have seen remarkable improvement in children after implementing it. I strongly believe that it is the most structured systematic synthetic phonics programme available. It is child-centred and multi-sensory, helping children to enjoy the learning process and progress from simple to complex.”
