Trujillo
Rossana Quiroz Reátegui has been teaching foreign languages for the past 17 years. She has taught adults and children in Peru and in the USA where she obtained a TESOL Certificate (Brigham Young University) and an MA in Linguistics (University of Utah). She is currently the English Coordinator for Lower School at Montessori International College, an IB School in Trujillo.
She enjoys supporting children´s literacy learning through the Jolly Phonics program and intertwining their interests and learning preferences. She has seen how Jolly Phonics has not only supported children’s reading fluency but also their confidence and motivation to read.
Rossana is an active learner and researcher in the classroom where she tailors learning activities to meet the students’ needs. Likewise, she is eager to share her teaching experiences with Jolly Phonics with other teachers and to reach more children.
